PDF:Melanie Mandl's haunting animated music video for Air's song "Run" won the music video audience award at the 2008 Los Angeles Film Festival. The video was totally DIY, made in Mandl's own back yard. After it was finished she sent it to the French band Air to get their blessing on it and they liked it.

The Atlas Resonance Project is a
world-wide participatory art project.
As the winter solstice of 2012 approaches we are
inundated with messages about the foreboding changes
that will occur on our planet induced by the Mayan
prophecies.
The concept–the coin–is conceived — cast by a
collective of artists at "La Fonderie" in Los Angeles.
The culmination–the bronze bell–is the realized unified
harmonic heart to be cast and rung in the Atlas
Mountains of Morocco in 12/2012.

Dean's work uses images of people or objects without clear context to elicit familiar emotions (a pretty girl, a well-dressed man, a child, an astronaut, flowers) but undermines the emotions that attend these icons with text. While the subject is often attractive and comforting – eliciting feelings of nostalgia and innocence – the sentiment that overlays the image is typically bitter, or melancholic, or cynical, or bleak. This juxtaposition often creates a unique conflict for the viewer.
Melanie's work includes paintings, miniatures and video installations.
Originally from Santa Barbara, Jesse received his BFA from San Francisco State before moving to Los Angeles, where he currently resides. His paintings explore brief moments in time in urban and suburban landscapes. The images are drawn from photos he has taken around Los Angeles.

A Canadian artist now residing in Los Angeles, Luc is represented by four galleries in North America. Luc first established himself in the Canadian art scene as an encaustic painter. The lush and textured landscapes he created always wanted to push towards abstraction, which became more and more apparent over the years. For the last 2 years, Luc's paintings have explored color and texture in oils and sumi ink.
