FOCAL POINT consists of a collection of selected locations from around Southern California painted in oil. Certain street corners, buildings, rocks or clearings can consistently attract or collect groups of people. They are well placed or central. They offer interesting lighting or a view. Some of them seem like an average quiet place until a certain important time occurs when they then become a focal point for action. They can be conduits or keystones for activity. They might be magnets for work or recreation. They are jumping off points into the spirit world. They are light that attracts people to wander out of the dark and gather with a group of other like minded people for unknown reasons.
