Four artists explore their relationship with the grid--a structure found in nature, technology, society, psychology, and countless other areas. Gridded patterns suggest control and order, science and discipline--but data can easily be manipulated. In offgrid, Cheng Cheng, Carly Chubak, John Junghun Lee, and Camille G. Papa endeavor to find a balance between the apparent immutability of the grid and the power of human agency.
