A Canadian artist now residing in Los Angeles, Luc is represented by four galleries in North America. Luc first established himself in the Canadian art scene as an encaustic painter. The lush and textured landscapes he created always wanted to push towards abstraction, which became more and more apparent over the years.

    For the last 2 years, Luc's paintings have explored color and texture in oils and sumi ink. His paintings bring simplicity in context, richness in color and contrast. Like his landscapes, there is an ephemeral moment captured, on the cusp of the next observation, simplified in abstraction.
